This year’s launch of our new worldwide workshop series marked the birth of a new brand and the beginning of a new mission for us.

Since 2009 Influential U has been a secret smart club for select students. Then recently an Esteemed Alumni said something that forced us to rethink everything about our exclusivity.

That one simple statement rocked our reality.

It made us realize that we—our faculty and alumni—are the ones we’ve been waiting for. The answer was staring us in the face, literally, in the bathroom mirror every morning.

You don’t have to be a news junkie to know that the challenges facing humanity are accelerating seemingly faster than our ability to solve them.

While billionaires blast off on joy rides, the rest of us remain here on earth working to achieve our personal and professional aims.

For far too long it’s been way too easy for people to avoid urgent issues by engaging in magical thinking about big breakdowns beyond our control. And we all know what kind of results magical thinking produces.

The world needs a practical new philosophy grounded in Reality, with a big R. Because as we teach, until you confront what’s Real, you can never explore what’s possible.

So what happens next?

I believe in my bones that the onus is on us—faculty and alum—to bring true Transactionalism to the wider world.

Where do you, our alum, fit into this vision?

Easy. We developed a new tool we call our Superpower / Kryptonite Quiz.

It’s a quick online quiz that offers an easy onramp to the business philosophy behind Transactional Competence.

The quiz introduces first-timers to the Transaction Cycle by showing them their place in it.

It reveals both the superpowers and kryptonite of their transactional personality and invites them to join us at an Influence Accelerator Workshop to learn more.

Since 2009, we’ve helped thousands of ambitious pros accelerate their influence and get to “yes” faster.

Now we’re calling on our alum to help us bring our uniquely practical framework to the world.
