On behalf of the front-side faculty and behind-the-scenes team at Influential U, we want to thank everyone around the world who attended our 2023 Global Conference in Hollywood. Whether you were in the room or on zoom, it felt fantastic to be together again to practice, play and push forward into the future.
This week's guests, Karina Christenson and Ron Sprengeler, had a unique experience with Influential U. They are the first and only couple to complete the whole curriculum together from start to finish. We all strive for happiness in our lives, and a big part of that comes from having strong and fulfilling relationships. As Karina and Ron will attest, those types of relationships don't come easy, but while studying with Influential U, they were able to gain a better understanding of each other and improve their communication.

Jody Lentz is the Vice President of Brokerage for Pacific Advisors. She works with financial advisors across the country to allow them to work with their clients by helping to train and service those advisors on Life Insurance and Disability Income products. She has a motto that we just love. She will never apologize to a client for a recommendation, which is a tall task for a performer personality like her!
Cici Bo is a mother, a daughter, and a lifelong learner. She has dedicated herself to yoga and incorporating it’s philosophy into her family life since discovering its joys and benefits. She aims to share the healing she experienced through yoga by offering a practice that her clients may embody in their daily lives and find balance mentally both physically and spiritually.
The most powerful way to influence people is through narrative— stories that unite an idea with an emotion. In a well-crafted story, you thread a lot of information into the telling and arouse your listener’s emotions and energy. We all tell stories, yet compelling storytelling isn’t easy. It takes little creativity to design a presentation that rattles off descriptions, features and benefits. But it demands vivid insight and storytelling skills to present an idea that packs enough emotional power to be memorable.
